About Us

Hi! We are the Colorado Valley Quilt Guild

The Colorado Valley Quilt Guild (CVQG) was founded in 1998 with 70 charter members. Our current membership draws from Fayette, Colorado, Bastrop, Lee, and Lavaca counties.  We also have members from the greater Austin area and a few in other states. We meet on the 4th Tuesday of each month at the Randolph Recreation Center, 653 E Pearl St, La Grange, TX. We have both day and night meetings on the schedule listed:

Odd-numbered months – 10:00 a.m.

Even-numbered months – 6:00 p.m.

Exceptions to the normal schedule are:

No meeting in February - Come to our Best Little Quilt Show instead!

No meeting in December - Come to the Christmas party instead.

See date and time on the Programs/Workshops tab.

We have an annual quilt show, “The Best Little Quilt Show in Texas", which is always held the last Friday and Saturday in February.  See the Quilt Show tab for more details. There are lots of vendor booths for shopping at the show, too. If you would like to be a vendor, please contact us!
